Dactari

Dog And Cat Travel Risk Information (DACTARI) is the voluntary national reporting scheme launched by DEFRA in 2003 to investigate the occurrence of exotic disease (confirmed and suspected) in dogs and cats in England Scotland and Wales.
The scheme covers all exotic diseases in dogs and cats in Britain but focuses on Babesia, Dirofilaria, Ehrlichia and Leishmania infections.

We strongly encourage veterinary practitioners to participate in this scheme.
